This workshop is designed for all UNCW managers/supervisors who recently hired a new employee subject to the State Human Resources Act (SHRA). This means for your employee’s first 12 months of employment they will be in their probationary employment period.
This interactive training session offers engagement strategies, timelines, and expectation setting ideas to keep your new hire(s) engaged and meeting your expectations while they work to become a career state employee. You will receive an essential tool, Managing Employees during Probationary Period, to guide you, along with key insights, actions, recommendations, and policy information to utilize this period successfully.
